About this race
The Dia de los Muertos 75 Mile Challenge is a distance challenge based on 75 logged miles. It begins in mid-September and concludes on Dia de los Muertos, providing participants several weeks to complete the distance by running, walking, or hiking.
The miles are dedicated to departed family members and ancestors, making the event more personal than a standard mileage goal. This is the fifth year for the challenge, and the format is straightforward: cover the distance wherever you are, log the miles, and use the challenge period as a way to mark remembrance through movement.
