About this race

The Takshanuk Ridge Run is a summer trail race. This demanding trail run climbs through temperate rainforest, along an alpine ridgeline, and finishes in Haines, between the sea and sky. You'll be traveling through bear country in the adventure capital of Southeast Alaska. It's a semi-autonomous race with no aid stations, meaning you'll need to carry your own food and water, along with mandatory gear like a wind jacket and bear spray. Conditions can change fast in the mountains. 100% of the race profits go to the Haines Glacier Bears middle and high school XC running programs.
