9th Annual OutRun Hunger 5K

The OutRun Hunger 5K is an annual Fort Bend County event featuring a professionally timed 5K, a Kids Run, and fundraising entries. Harvest Green by Johnson Development hosts the race, which benefits East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry. It accommodates both runners and families; participants can compete for age-group awards, walk the 5K route, or bring strollers. The course is suitable for walkers, not exclusively for fast runners, and the top three men and women in each age group receive finisher medals. Following the race, attendees can enjoy a family-focused gathering with a bounce house, face painting, vendor booths, and photo opportunities. The fundraising structure allows runners and children to link their race day to local hunger relief efforts in Fort Bend County.
