About this race
The Abbott Chicago 5K is a Saturday 5K held in downtown Chicago during Bank of America Chicago Marathon weekend. It offers marathon spectators, family, and friends a short race of their own, and also serves as a straightforward shakeout run for athletes preparing for Sunday's marathon.
