AbingTHON 5k and Fun Run

The AbingTHON 5k and Fun Run is a race held on the Abington Senior High School campus, located at 900 Highland Ave in Abington, Pennsylvania. The event features a timed 5K Run and a 1 Mile Fun-Run/Walk. Check-in begins near the start at 9:00 am, with the 5K starting at 10:00 am and the mile run commencing five minutes later. The course is contained within the Abington Senior High School and Middle School campus, making it a local run rather than a point-to-point road race. AbingTHON, a community service club at Abington Senior High School, organizes this event to support families affected by pediatric cancer. All proceeds benefit Sara’s Smiles and Shane’s Future Days. Bryn Mawr Racing Co. provides professional timing for the 5K, and awards are presented to the top three overall finishers.
