Andy Buschmann 4-Mile Classic

The 48th Annual Classic honors Andy Buschmann, a local runner. He and Jack Heston ran every version of the race since its founding in 1978. The Andy Buschmann 4-Mile Classic course starts and finishes on Main Street near City Hall. It runs downhill through Batesville's historic residential and downtown districts, with climbs through nearby neighborhoods mid-race. All runners and walkers will receive a race shirt, and proceeds are donated to local charities serving Independence County.
