About this race
The Anime for Miles 5K begins at 3:00 p.m. Eastern at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, Virginia. This 5K run/walk is centered on anime fandom, Japanese pop culture, and the team spirit found in Japan's ekiden relay tradition. The event welcomes both runners and walkers, accommodating those aiming for a fast 5K time and those participating primarily for the theme.
The course is a 5K held at the Workhouse Arts Center, with on-site parking. Cosplay is permitted, provided the costume allows for comfortable completion of the distance and remains family-friendly. Registration covers race entry, a bib, and a T-shirt for those who register by the shirt deadline; all finishers will receive an award. While refunds are not available, registrants may apply their entry fee to a future event.
