Annual Veteran Suicide Awareness March 2026

The Annual Veteran Suicide Awareness March takes place in La Crosse and Green Bay, Wisconsin, during November. Participants walk, ruck, or run to raise awareness for veteran suicide. HOOAH WI organizes the event, which is dedicated to service members, veterans, and their families. Military personnel, veterans, relatives, and supporters all begin at the same start line. Available options include a 17.6-mile route, a 2.25-mile route, a children's mini-mover option, or a virtual participation choice. Many attendees ruck in honor of a service member or veteran. The event features resource tables, an opening ceremony, moments of remembrance along the course, and a concluding gathering. Funds generated will support HOOAH WI's peer support, outreach, wellness services, and veteran suicide prevention initiatives.
