About this race
The Appleseeds Summer Running Program is an 8-week program for elementary, middle school, and high school aged kids. It provides groundwork for physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Practices include education, running, and games. Younger kids (10 and under) have a game-based curriculum, while middle and high school age groups have a structured, training-based program. Entries for three races are included: a Thursday Night Spikes Track Meet, the Pufferbelly Run, Walk, Stroll, and a Cross Country Race.
