About this race

The 2026 Vtmonster challenges riders, starting and ending at Stratton Mountain. The course includes gravel roads, paved sections, and class IV technical terrain. Route marking is limited and cell service can be spotty, so a GPS is recommended. The climb up Moses Pond Road from Weston is a significant early challenge. After the Scott Covered Bridge, another steep climb may require dismounting. Support vehicles are available for minor mechanical issues, but riders should be prepared for self-sufficiency in repairs. For assistance, contact the command center via text.
