Black Hawk YMCA Triathlon

The Black Hawk YMCA Triathlon is a sprint-distance race held at George Wyth State Park in Waterloo, Iowa. Participants begin in the morning and must finish a 500-meter swim, a 16.5-mile bike ride, and a 5K run by early afternoon. The event is open to individuals aged 12 to 99, and teams may compete in a relay format, with members completing different legs of the race. A separate 500-meter open-water swim is also offered for those interested only in the swimming portion.
