About this race
A weekend of trails and nature. Expect STEEP terrain, especially on the Hill Climb, the shortest route to the top of Shafer Butte. The vertical climbing is worth it. For peak baggers or trail curious. Longer routes have challenging climbs. Shorter options are for new hikers and trail runners, with wide trails, few rocks, and rolling terrain. Generous cut off times allow hiking the entire event. Proceeds from the Boise Front Trail Festival support Ridge to Rivers, funding new trail projects in the Boise Foothills.
