About this race
The Brew to Boo Relay is a Kansas City beer relay focused on downtown breweries, differing from a point-to-point run across the metro. The event now remains in the downtown area, having previously spanned almost a marathon from South to North Kansas City. Participants can select a Crossroads pub crawl or a running option, allowing them to move between breweries throughout the day without needing to complete every mile.
The pub crawl begins at Torn Label, proceeds west through the Crossroads, and concludes at Casual Animal. This format is designed to maintain group cohesion while permitting late arrivals. The running portion directs participants from the pub crawl area to breweries beyond the Crossroads, where they collect a drink before returning. Its five legs include stops at Boulevard, Strange Days, Alma Mader, Stockyard, and Vine Street, covering approximately 16.5 miles. Teams are welcome, but a solo runner can complete the entire course.
