The Whalehead Club anchors this event, with runners and walkers convening near Corolla’s historic sites instead of a generic out-and-back course. The Brindley Beach Lighthouse 5k Series in September is part of the "Lighthouse 5k / 1 Mile Race Series," now in its 16th year.
