About this race

The Capitol Ford Santa Fe International Half Marathon is a fall race weekend in Santa Fe, New Mexico, centered on a 13.1-mile point-to-point half marathon. The main race begins at La Tienda Plaza Eldorado, proceeds along Old Las Vegas Highway, and concludes at the Railyard. Participants have 3 hours and 30 minutes to finish the half marathon; teams can divide the distance via the 3-Amigos Relay. The weekend also features a 4K from the Railyard Community Garden to the park and a free 1K Kids Run for children aged 3 to 14. The event is in its fifth year and caters to a wide range of participants: local and visiting runners, families, community health groups, and both first-time half marathoners and those aiming for a personal best. The point-to-point course offers views of Santa Fe historic landmarks before finishing at the Railyard. The race also supports the Kitany Water Project, which provides clean, sustainable water access for underserved communities. Children can sign up for the Kids Run at the expo or on race day. The weekend includes a free indigo T-shirt workshop led by artist Gasali Adeyemo, teaching African indigo dyeing techniques.
