CASA Color Run

The CASA Color Run is a family-friendly 5K starting at Sycamore Middle School in Sycamore, Illinois. Open to the public, the pace is intentionally relaxed; participants may walk, jog, or sprint, provided they complete the distance and enjoy the color-run format. The event occurs annually, organized by a committee with support from local sponsors. The race emphasizes families and community involvement over competition. Children may register, with reduced pricing for ages 5-12 and free entry for ages 4 and under, though all participants require registration. Pets are not permitted. Following the 5K, attendees can enjoy music, snacks, and water. Proceeds benefit CASA DeKalb County's advocacy for children in DeKalb County who have faced abuse and neglect.
