CASA of Marion County Superhero Run 2026

Costumes are integral to the CASA of Marion County Superhero Run, an annual 5K, 10K, and one-mile fun run held at Salem Riverfront Park in Salem, Oregon. The 5K and 10K require registration fees, while the one-mile option is free. This makes the event accessible for families, walkers, newer runners, and children who wish to participate in the superhero theme without committing to a longer race. The event begins and concludes at the riverfront park, located at 200 Water Street NE, with all three distances taking place within the same morning. CASA of Marion County organizes the run to fund its efforts in advocating for abused and neglected children in foster care, utilizing trained volunteers. Participants in the 5K and 10K receive a race-day T-shirt, sponsored by Maps Credit Union. The race encourages participants to wear capes, masks, and other superhero attire.
