Catch the Cure - Paddle for Parkinson's 2026

19th Annual Paddle for Parkinson's Fundraiser. Saturday, September 5, 2026. Location: Billish Park Boat Ramp, North Padre Island. Course: A 2.5-mile loop, consisting of a 1.25-mile paddle to the Padre Island Yacht Club, a buoy circle, and a 1.25-mile return to Billish Park Boat Launch. Participants can use kayaks, paddleboards, or any manually powered vessel. The event is a timed race, but all skill levels are welcome. No team or relay divisions. Registration includes race entry, a BBQ plate, and an event t-shirt. Early bird pricing is available until August 20 to guarantee shirt size. Pricing: $30 through May 25, $40 from May 26 to August 19, $50 from August 20 to September 3, and $60 from September 4 to race day. Packet pickup: Thursday, September 3, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brewster Street Ice House (15241 Leeward Dr., Corpus Christi, 78418). Race day packet pickup and late registration: Saturday, September 5, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM at Billish Park Boat Ramp. Race day schedule: Check-in begins early, races start at 9:00 AM, followed by an awards ceremony, live music, and BBQ. The event is open to the public to cheer, eat, and support the cause.
