Centra Foundation Boo Bash Costume Dash 5k and Trick or Trot Kids Fun Run 2026

The Centra Foundation Boo Bash Costume Dash is a Halloween 5k run/walk held at Mill Race Park in Columbus, Indiana. A kids’ Trick or Trot Fun Run takes place before the 5k. Runners and walkers are encouraged to wear costumes fitting the theme. The event supports United Way partners. The kids’ run begins, followed by the 5k, which is timed by AB Timing. The children’s route is approximately a half mile and features trick-or-treat stops, designed as a Halloween outing rather than a competitive race. All Trick or Trot participants receive a Fun Run medal. The first 100 in-person 5k registrants also receive medals. A virtual 5k option is available throughout October, completable by running, walking, or using a treadmill or elliptical. Proceeds from the virtual race also go to United Way partners.
