About this race
Race up a mountain road built for mule trains and silver barons, a historic path carved out in 1865 to shuttle silver down from the mountains. Climb to the historic ghost town of Cerro Gordo, once the richest silver mine in California. After the climb, celebrate with a mountaintop BBQ and explore the abandoned town. The winner’s name is engraved in silver, earning bragging rights. It’s the Cerro Gordo Silver Run, and all are welcome to dig deep and run for the silver.
