CFJ Carousel 5K and Kids Fun Run

The CFJ Carousel 5K and Kids Fun Run is centered around the carousel at CFJ Park in Johnson City, New York. This carousel is the largest and most ornate in the Greater Binghamton Area. The main event is a 5K run along C F J Boulevard, followed later in the morning by a Kids Fun Run, making the day suitable for both runners and families. Greater Binghamton is known as the Carousel Capital of the World, with six carousels in the region, providing this race with a distinct local identity. Proceeds from entry fees benefit the CFJ Carousel and Johnson City Rotary Carousel Day, with a portion allocated to Rotary projects that support Johnson City's upkeep. Participants receive a custom shirt and a finisher medal designed with the CFJ Carousel theme. The race concludes with a post-run festival featuring vendors and entertainment organized by the Johnson City Rotary. Overall and age-group winners will be awarded gift cards from Confluence Running, the New York-based organizer of the event.
