About this race
Cherrylake Farm Races take place on Cherrylake’s 1,100-acre tree farm near Clermont, Florida, with a clay surface instead of pavement. The series offers runners a 5K or 10K off-road choice, and it also features a sprint duathlon: a 5K run, 20K bike, and 2.5K run, which converts to 3.1, 12.4, and 1.6 miles respectively. The races begin close together in the morning, starting with the duathlon, followed by the 10K, and then the 5K.
The running courses traverse the farm, passing natural lakes and tree lines. The duathlon bike leg departs the farm for the rolling Cherry Lake Road course. The duathlon is open to participants aged 12 to 100 and requires a USAT license, either one-day or annual. Water is available before the race and at multiple aid stations, with finishers receiving chip-timed results.
