City of Burton Parks & Rec Veterans Honor Run 2026

The Veterans Honor Run begins at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Burton, Michigan, with an 11:11 a.m. start time, a nod to the veterans theme. This event concludes the Burton Race Series and includes an 11K run, 5K run, 5K walk, 5K ruck, and virtual 5K and 11K options. The route for the in-person race goes through Burton neighborhoods, giving it a local, community feel instead of a destination event. Its aim is to show appreciation for veterans and their families. It also provides Burton Race Series participants a final opportunity to complete the season and earn their BRS medal.
