About this race
The Community First Fox Cities Marathon is based in Menasha, Wisconsin, with the event hub at 1478 Midway Road. The weekend features multiple races: a marathon, half marathon, relay marathon, competitive half marathon walk, 10K, 5K, kids events, and an expo. The marathon and half marathon start at 7:00 a.m. CDT and conclude at 2:00 p.m. The 10K and 5K are held on a separate day, separating the smaller races from the main long-distance events.
The series attracts thousands of participants, including runners, walkers, volunteers, spectators, local businesses, and community partners from the Fox Cities area. With a 34-year history, it operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, having returned over $1.3 million to area non-profits, running groups, and community partners. The variety of events accommodates serious marathoners, relay teams, half marathon walkers, families, and first-time 5K runners, creating a local running festival atmosphere rather than a single-distance race.
