CRDA Atlantic City Triathlon

The CRDA Atlantic City Triathlon is an annual event held at Bader Field in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It offers Sprint and Olympic-distance options, along with aquabike races. The Sprint course includes a quarter-mile swim, a 10-mile bike ride, and a 5K run. The Olympic-distance triathlon features a 1-mile swim, a 21-mile bike ride, and a 10K run. Aquabike participants complete the swim and bike segments, with both sprint and Olympic-distance versions available. The swim takes place in the back bay, providing calmer waters compared to many ocean swims. The course incorporates Atlantic City landmarks: the swim is in the bay, the bike leg utilizes the Atlantic City Expressway, and the run is primarily on the Boardwalk. Both triathlon finish lines are situated in front of Boardwalk Hall at Kennedy Plaza, placing the end of the race within the city's central beachfront area. Bader Field has previously hosted events like Ironman 70.3 Atlantic City and USAT Age-Group National Championships, establishing its significance in multisport. The event attracts triathletes, aquabike racers, and participants drawn to the specific bay-swim, expressway-bike, boardwalk-run format. Included for participants are finisher medals, tech shirts, live tracking, timed results, and post-race food.
