About this race
This community run/walk at Lake Hawkins honors fathers and family. It began as a tribute in memory of a father who passed after a battle with cancer and has grown into a community gathering focused on connection, gratitude, and wellness. The course loops around the lake, offering a scenic route suitable for all ages. The Dash for Dad remembers those we’ve lost and celebrates those still with us, encouraging movement and healthier habits.
