About this race
The Death Valley Century is a long-distance cycling series that begins at Furnace Creek Ranch, with starts located below sea level within Death Valley National Park. The Spring Double Century spans 196 miles and includes 9,100 feet of elevation gain. Shorter 150-mile and 100-mile routes are available for participants seeking the desert environment without the full double-century challenge. The spring ride covers the southern section of the park, whereas the fall event explores the northern regions.
