DeGray Lake Triathlon 2026

The DeGray Lake Triathlon is a multisport race held at DeGray Lake in Arkansas, situated near Caddo Valley and the Ouachita Mountains. The event is headquartered at the Spillway Trail Head in the Spillway Dam Area, accessible from Highway 7 and Interstate 30. Participants can select from an Olympic triathlon, a sprint triathlon, a sprint duathlon, an Olympic aquabike, or a 1,500-meter open water swim. The Olympic triathlon includes a 1,500-meter swim, a 40-kilometer bike ride, and a 10-kilometer run. The sprint triathlon consists of a 500-yard swim, a 13.5-mile bike ride, and a 5K run. The duathlon substitutes the swim with a 2-mile run, followed by the same 13.5-mile bike ride and a 3.1-mile run. The Olympic triathlon is open to individuals and teams, whereas the sprint triathlon and aquabike are individual competitions. This race is one of Arkansas’s original multisport festivals, utilizing the lake, a Caddo River reservoir, for the swim portion.
