Faith and Freedom 5K 2026

The Faith and Freedom 5K is a Veterans Day run/walk in Sebring, Florida, beginning at 8:00 AM within Highlands Hammock State Park. It is organized by Bob's Vets of Highlands County, a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The race honors veterans and offers local runners and walkers a standard 5K distance. The course is located at the park address on Hammock Road, keeping the event connected to one of Highlands County's primary outdoor areas. Bob's Vets utilizes outdoor trips as therapy for disabled veterans, sponsoring all-expense-paid hunting, fishing, and kayaking excursions. Awards consist of custom dog tags for the top three male and female finishers in each age group, along with Overall Open, Master, and Grand Master categories. Divisions span from young children to participants aged 80 and above.
