About this race
The Fall Classic Half Marathon & 5K takes place in September in Ludington Park, Escanaba, Michigan, situated on the shore of Little Bay de Noc. Participants can choose between a chip-timed half marathon or a 5K run/walk, with both races commencing and concluding within the park. This event focuses on autumn racing, featuring straightforward routes, a park environment, and distances suitable for both dedicated runners and families participating in the 5K.
The course is noted for being flat and fast, making the half marathon ideal for those aiming for a personal record. The 5K remains accessible for walkers and novice runners. All half marathon finishers will receive long-sleeve shirts and medals. Similarly, 5K finishers are awarded shirts and medals. The 5K also offers overall and age-group awards. Food and music will be available near the finish line.
