About this race
The second annual Finger Lakes Freshet, a self-supported bikepacking event, follows the ethics of similar rides: an unmarked route with no sag wagon or feed stations. The course includes gravel roads, singletrack, rough roads, rail trail, and pavement. Expect a green spring ride with water, camaraderie, wildflowers, and mud. Riders are encouraged to ride together in groups. Knobby 38-55mm tires are recommended, with a gravel bike or mountain bike ideal.
