About this race
The Freaky Friday 8K Run is a nighttime 8K race in Northport, Alabama. The course begins and ends at 101 Bridge Avenue, near Dreamland BBQ. The race starts after dark and takes place in the evening, incorporating a Halloween theme. Participants should be aware of potential 'monsters' in the wooded areas along the route.
The event includes a costume contest held before the run. Following the race, awards, food, drinks, local radio, and craft beer will be available at Dreamland Barbecue. The Freaky Friday 8K Run is also part of the Tuscaloosa Runners' Championship.
