Frigid Beast Feast

Frigid Beast Feast is a multiday trail race at Tickfaw State Park near Springfield, Louisiana, offering distances from a 3 Miler up to a 150 Miler. Every race uses the park’s River Trail as a 3-mile loop, allowing shorter runners to complete one lap while ultra runners return through the same start-finish area. The setting is wilder than a typical park path; organizers warn that poisonous snakes and alligators may be present on or near the trail. Support is simple and loop-friendly, with an unmanned halfway aid station providing water, electrolytes, snacks, and ice, alongside a main aid station at the start and finish. The course is situated within a park featuring over a mile of boardwalks and four distinct environments: cypress and tupelo swamp, bottomland hardwood forest, mixed pine and hardwood forest, and the Tickfaw River.
