FTA Legacy 5K

The FTA Legacy 5K is a new 5K in Marietta, Georgia, honoring the late Pastor Frederick T. Anderson. Anderson founded Covenant Christian Ministries and served the Marietta community for over 30 years. The race connects to church history and local memory rather than a long-established road-racing tradition. The course reflects the church's history. Anderson and his wife also directed Covenant Christian Ministries Academy in Marietta for 25 years, educating students from Georgia and internationally. Since 2016, the church has used various locations, including Cobb Galleria, McEachern Auditorium, The Mansour Center, and Smitha Middle School. All proceeds will support Anderson's vision for the church: establishing a permanent home for Covenant Christian Ministries.
