About this race
Grand Circle Trailfest is a three-day, four-night trail running festival based in Kanab, Utah, featuring separate races at Bryce Canyon, Zion, and Antelope Canyon. Runners compete on consecutive days, with each course timed and results contributing to a cumulative festival total. Registration functions like a camp week: it covers all three races, festival access, on-site tent camping, and breakfast and dinner for the race days.
The Bryce Canyon stage covers 15.7 miles with approximately 1,267 feet of climbing and similar descent, utilizing remote trails through the hoodoos of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. The Antelope Canyon stage is a 13.2-mile half-marathon distance. The event attracts experienced trail and ultramarathon runners, while also accommodating newer runners and non-running family or friends, who can participate in festival activities at no cost. Daily top finishers are announced at Trailfest Headquarters in Kanab.
