About this race
The Great Adirondack Trail Run, an annual challenge that "Raises its Ugly Head Again," is deeply rooted in the rugged terrain of the Adirondacks. This event offers a mountain experience, beginning its demanding journey up Hopkins Mountain and concluding in the scenic Keene Valley.
The course presents a significant climb up the back side of Hopkins Mountain, followed by a substantial descent that winds its way down to Keene Valley. Adding to its character, the event maintains a distinctive call-in registration tradition, making the sign-up process an integral part of the experience.
