About this race
The Gryphon Place Suicide Prevention Walk is a 5K cause-walk at Bronson Park in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This annual community event brings people together to raise awareness for suicide prevention, support open conversations about mental health, and help fund Gryphon Place’s local programs and services.
The walk starts after a morning schedule that includes registration, a resource fair, a panel discussion, and opening remarks. It is built for supporters rather than racers: families can attend, children under 5 can walk for free, and the registration fee includes a T-shirt for registered participants. Every community-raised dollar stays in the area, with the stated goal of zero suicides and practical support for people affected by suicide.
