Harvest Hammer Duathlon 2026

The Harvest Hammer Duathlon takes place in Morrison, Illinois, starting at Morrison High School on Genesee Street. It is scheduled for the third Saturday in September, with the 5k beginning at 8:00 a.m. The primary event combines a 5k run with a 21-mile bike ride. Options are available for those who prefer just the run/walk or wish to share the duathlon with a partner. Teams can consist of one runner and one cyclist, with co-ed teams welcomed. The event also features children's races following the main start: short runs for children up to 5th grade, a 1-mile Challenge Run for 5th-8th graders, and a Color Run afterward. A free bicycle will be awarded to a child in each of the younger Fun Run groups, the Challenge Run winner receives a cash prize, and chip timing is utilized. Proceeds benefit Morrison Rotary Club initiatives in youth, education, community, and international projects.
