Haunted Hustle 5k & Monster Mile

The Haunted Hustle 5K & Monster Mile is a Halloween-themed race morning held at Abshire Park in Goshen, Indiana. Runners and walkers begin at 8:45 am. The event offers several participation options: a Frightening 5K, Terrifying 10K, Haunted Half Marathon, and a Monster Mile walk. The Monster Mile is untimed and does not feature age-group awards. The routes follow an out-and-back course on the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail. This path is protected from traffic, with police officers present at a few road crossings. All paid participants receive a finisher medal displaying the race distance on its lanyard. The timed races provide awards for overall finishers and age groups. Costumes are encouraged, with a Judges station available for runners to enter categories like best homemade costume, children's costume, superhero, and most creative.
