Homecoming 5K Run/ Walk

The Genoa Homecoming 5K Run/Walk begins and ends at Washington and 6th Street in Genoa, Ohio. Race-day activities are centered at Veterans Memorial Park. Registration opens in the morning, followed by the kids’ half-mile race for ages 12 and under, and then the 5K run/walk. This is a small community race with straightforward logistics: bib pickup is available that morning, payment is accepted by cash or check, and the registration table is located in front of Heritage Hall next to the Bip Dipper. The course incorporates a section of the North Coast Inland Trail before proceeding through Veterans Park, featuring a mix of surfaces. Participants should anticipate grass near the park and baseball fields, along with dirt paths around the quarry, making it an all-terrain 5K rather than a standard road race. The route is marked with arrows. The first 50 registrants will receive a race shirt, and awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers.
