Hot Cocoa 10K/5KRun/Kids' 1Mile Run or Adult Walk 2027

The Hot Cocoa Race begins at 9:00 a.m. EST in Olander Park, Sylvania, Ohio. Participants can choose from a 10K run, a 5K run, a 1-mile run or walk, and a kids' 1-mile race. This is the tenth annual running of the family-friendly community event, sponsored by Sylvania Prevention Alliance. The 10K covers 6.2 miles, and the 5K covers 3.1 miles. Both 1-mile options accommodate walkers, children, and newer runners. The courses remain open to traffic, requiring participants to maintain regular road awareness instead of a closed course. Proceeds benefit youth programs encouraging healthy lifestyle choices. The finish area will provide hot cocoa, snacks, and age group awards.
