Howloween 5K & 1-Mile Dog Walk

The Howloween 5K & 1-Mile Dog Walk is a Halloween-themed race and dog-walk held at Parkside Place Park in North Wales, Pennsylvania. The event features a 5K run or walk and a 1-mile route for those walking with dogs, all taking place on Halloween. Costumes are encouraged for runners, walkers, families, and dogs, adding a thematic element beyond a standard road race. The event begins at Parkside Place on Sumneytown Pike, with the course looping within the park. Dogs are welcome throughout the event, including an agility course and puppuccinos. The post-race Fall Fair includes over 100 vendors, food trucks, raffle baskets, and costume contests, contributing to a family-friendly Halloween atmosphere. Past editions featured photo galleries by Laurie Cesati (Young Pups Photography) and Ava Coffey (Saint Anselm College), with digital photo sales benefiting ARLNH.
