About this race
This "exhilarating adventure" takes place in Augusta, set against the "spectacular nature of the Maine". Now in its fourth year, IRONMAN 70.3 Maine is considered "New England's mid-season gem", offering a competitive endurance challenge. It uses the "unbeatable Kennebec" and surrounding landscapes for its course.
The experience begins with a fast river swim in the Kennebec, followed by a challenging bike course that tests endurance. A rolling run completes the race, leading to an awards ceremony that includes slot allocation for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship. A welcome ceremony also kicks off the event in Augusta.
