About this race
The Kaiser Permanente Women’s Fitness Festival is Sacramento’s largest all-women’s event, held in June on 9th Street between L Street and Capitol Mall. It offers runners and walkers a 5K, a 10K, and a 1/2-mile Princess Run for girls, with medals for all three distances and race tees for 5K and 10K finishers.
The day is structured as a fitness festival alongside a race, featuring a post-race breakfast, a mimosa garden, free health screenings at the Kaiser Permanente Health Pavilion, and a Fitness Expo. Fleet Feet Sacramento selected WEAVE as the beneficiary for the first edition, and event proceeds and participant donations have raised over $300,000 for services supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking.
