Katy 5K Presented By Michelob ULTRA

The Katy 5K Presented by Michelob ULTRA is a Dallas 5K race held each September, starting and finishing at Reverchon Park. It utilizes the Katy Trail, a public path developed on a former railroad line and supported by donations to Friends of the Katy Trail. Now in its 28th year, this event is an established local tradition, not a recent addition to the running scene. The course guides participants through Turtle Creek, Uptown, and along the Katy Trail, passing by several of central Dallas's popular outdoor areas. The finish line leads directly into the Katy Picnic Party, where DJ EJ will provide music post-race. The event embraces its tagline, "A Giant Party Disguised as a 5K!," reflecting the significant role of the post-race gathering in its appeal.
