About this race
Lake Hodges Trail Fest is a trail running weekend centered on Lake Hodges, offering races from a 1 Mile Kid’s Fun Run to a 50K ultra. The event also features a 25K, 15K, 10K, 5K, a Stroller Trail 5K for running with a child, and a run-bike-run Trail Duathlon that can be completed solo or as a team.
The 50K is presented as an introductory ultrarunning race, while the 25K provides a longer trail experience without reaching ultra distance. The 10K ascends approximately 1,000 feet to reach Bernardo Mountain Peak, and the 5K follows the lake shore for runners and walkers. Children aged 10 and under can participate in the non-timed mile, receiving medals and treats at the finish. All participants must carry their own water bottle or cup, as the series does not supply cups at aid stations.
