Lake Takanassee Summer Series

Established in 1964, this weekly series around Lake Takanassee features a 5k race, 5k racewalk, and 1 mile kids run. The 5k events involve four laps, while the kids run is one lap. Medals are awarded to top 5k finishers and age group winners, plus top boys and girls in the kids run, where all participants receive ribbons. Consistent top performers earn overall series awards. Limited event day registration is available.
