Longwood Monster Dash

The Longwood Monster Dash is a Halloween-themed 5K run/walk in downtown Longwood, Florida, featuring a free kids' dash preceding the main event. The race begins and concludes at the Historic Civic Center, located in the city's historic district. This event directly supports local preservation efforts, distinguishing it from a typical seasonal fun run. The course winds through Longwood's historic district, an area where the Longwood Historic Society maintains three late-nineteenth-century structures. All funds generated from the race are dedicated to preserving the city's historic landmarks. Costumes are encouraged, with awards presented for the most outstanding ones.
