About this race
Connect thankful citizens with Memorial Day observance at this event. It’s an opportunity for families to come together for a run/walk before the annual service on the Johnson County Courthouse lawn. You can join a competitive race if you can run under 10 minutes for the mile, or participate in the family walk/jog/run. Last year, over 1,000 walkers and runners joined, making this Memorial Day Mile a significant race. Every participant receives a t-shirt and a finisher medal.
