About this race
The annual Miles that Matter 5K Run/Walk loops around Bde Maka Ska, starting and finishing at Thomas Beach on sidewalks with minimal elevation. This event is for all ages; kids under 12 run free and strollers are welcome. Participants receive a racing T-shirt. The first 70 to sign up get a reusable aluminum water bottle. Your entry supports the International Institute of Minnesota in their work with immigrants and refugees, and provides more learning and leadership opportunities for Augsburg PA students.
